The County Summer League was formed of a single division with a maximum of 10 teams and was played between April and September. Priority was given to clubs with just one mat and then teams from the lower divisions of the GSMBA Winter League. The original aim of the Summer League was to encourage every club member to play and gain experience under match conditions. In 2016 the rules were changed to come in line with the needs of most clubs for a competitive one mat league, they were again changed in 2017 by a majority agreement of the GSMBA committee. The rules are similar to the Winter League rules and are defined here. Results for the Summer League can only be accepted by email either by emailing a scanned copy of the results sheet to the League Secretary or via the results email pageon this website.
